What We’re Working On

There are several areas you can contribute to: Arrow C++ and the PyArrow and R bindings built on top of it (all in the apache/arrow repo), and Arrow Go (in apache/arrow-go). Getting Started Before the Event

To make the most of hackathon time, we recommend:

  1. Clone the repo and get the build working, following either the C++/PyArrow setup instructions or the Arrow Go package docs, depending on where you want to contribute
  2. Browse the issue list and pick one that interests you
  3. Introduce yourself on the dev@ list or chat channel
